Q. Why is softball pitching machine gone?
A. We have eliminated the softball machine pitch division as the little league board felt it aided in poor batting techniques and had a low level of participation. So to encourage positive growth in skills, we are enthusiastic about putting more emphasis on coach pitch and modified fast pitch. We are eager for the 2022 season and hope that these changes will continue to expand the softball league in a positive and broadening way.
Q. How old does my child need to be for Majors and Minors baseball?
A. We try very hard to accommodate all children age 9-12 in Majors and Minors. We follow the official Little League age calculator and rules. If we have enough coaches and skill level is appropriate we welcome our 8-year-old players to participate in the tryouts as well. So long as there is space, and we feel they have the skill to be safe on the field they will be placed on a team Minors team. If they are more equipped for baseball pitching machine they are able to play in this league.

Softball: Maximum / Minimum Player Age Guidelines:
Q. Will my child need to tryout or redraft every year for baseball?
A. No. All you need to do register and list the team your child played for last year. If for some reason your child would prefer not to return to their previous team, they are welcome to once again tryout and be redrafted.
Q. My child and his neighbor friend wants to be on the same team for car pooling reasons, can they be?
A. Ages 4-8 that is totally possible. For Minors and Majors here is the answer. The only way that 2 friends can be on the same baseball team is if they were drafted onto the team or their parents are coaching and if there are available spots to protect the kids. A player can only enter the team by protected status if there are less than 2 protected players already on the team.
Q. Will siblings be placed on the same team?
A. Absolutely! Younger siblings need not tryout, and will be placed on the older siblings' team. If the older sibling is on a Major team and the younger sibling wants to be on a minor team, the younger sibling will have to tryout and be drafted onto a Minor team.
Q. What kind of time commitment is expected from my child? From me?
A. Teams have 2 games per week, Minors have typically played on Tuesdays and Thursday, while Majors have played Mondays and Wednesdays. Games are held in the evenings. Most coaches will hold a practice or two through the week as well. Parent involvement is an integral part of this league. We are run 100% by volunteers; from the Board members, to the coaches, to the scorekeepers, to this website. Please consider offering to help.
Q. How can I help?
A. This is a great organization that teaches many things to our young players. We're proud to be a part of it. If you're willing to give some of your time this season, we always need coaches and assistant coaches, score keepers, pitch counters, Board members, help with equipment, ordering uniforms, creating ads, entering scores. If you've no experience in things, no worries! We'll welcome the offer and help you learn anything you need to know.
